Seriously, as much as I occasionally enjoy the thought of Garrus and Kaidan in loincloths duking it out in a mud pit for Shepard’s affections, neither of them strike me—in the slightest—as the type to literally fight over a woman. Kaidan is far too level-headed for that, and Garrus flat-out states in ME 2 that he has no interest in love triangle drama. I just hope against hope that BioWare doesn’t take the melodramatic, testosterone-overload route with any confrontations between LIs in ME 3.
Ooh, when does Garrus say that? I don’t recall. Regardless, I’d be happy with just a little slice of awkward cake to acknowledge what had happened. :3
He only says it if you’re basically stringing along both him and either Jacob or Thane—which I’ve never done, so I’ve never gotten the line myself, either! I just recall seeing it on YouTube or someplace.
But yeah, I would be totally okay with some kind of slightly awkward, uncomfortable discussion about it, as long as everyone acts like the relatively reasonable adults that they are and don’t start screaming and throwing punches, or something like that.
Oh that explains it! I didn’t even try for Jacob or Thane. I’ve been eyeing that sexy turian since game 1. >:3
Same here! I have one Shepard that romanced Thane and one that’s holding out for Kaidan, but all the others are Garrus all the way.
